Library closed Dec. 24 and 25

All locations of The Seattle Public Library and the book drops at the Central Library will be closed on Christmas Eve, Sunday, Dec. 24 and Christmas Day, Monday, Dec. 25.

Temporary Green Lake Branch Closure Begins 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17
The Green Lake Branch, 7364 E. Green Lake Dr. N., 206-684-7547, will temporarily close at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 for construction work to repair dry rot surrounding the skylight above the entry. The book drops also will close.

The Seattle Public Library Adds Film Streaming Service, Kanopy
Film lovers asked for it; we got it! You can now watch more than 30,000 films from Kanopy, a streaming film service with a focus on classic and independent films. It's free for cardholders of The Seattle Public Library.

'Baseball: Culture in Cuba' Exhibit at The Seattle Public Library Nov. 1 Through Dec. 31
Baseball season may be over, but the sport lives on at The Seattle Public Library's latest exhibit Baseball: Culture in Cuba. Visit the gallery on Level 8 and the display on Level 5 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., where from Wednesday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, Dec. 31 you'll see photographs by renowned photojournalist Ira Block that reveal everyday life in Cuba with a focus on baseball.

New Print and Copy System Being Installed at The Seattle Public Library in November
This November, The Seattle Public Library is upgrading to a new print and copy system to offer patrons more options for printing. Public printers and copiers at all Library locations will be replaced.
