All locations of The Seattle Public Library and the book drops at the Central Library will be closed on Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 19.

E-textiles: Sewing and Electronics at The Seattle Public Library Feb. 25

Learn how to sew and add electronic components to your sewing projects from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 the High Point Branch, 3411 S.W. Raymond St., 206-684-7454.


Library events are free and open to the public. Registration is required; call 206-684-7454 to sign up. Free parking is available in the branch parking lot. A free lunch will be served. This class is for adults and families with children ages 12 and up.


E-textiles are fabric garments with embedded electronic components and interactivity. For example, you could make a T-shirt that lights up in the evening, or a fabric pin that blinks on and off.
