Find out how The Seattle Public Library can help you start or grow your business at Biz Fair! We'll be at the 2018 Washington State Small Business Fair from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at Renton Technical College, 3000 N.E. Fourth St., 206-946-3703.

Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Free parking is available at the Renton Technical College's main campus.

We'll have a table in the Resource Center to demonstrate the free tools and resources we offer to support business needs. From 10:30 a.m. to noon, business librarian Jay Lyman will co-present a "Beyond Google" workshop that shows you how to navigate Library databases to help you make informed decisions in your business planning, marketing, site location and market analysis.

The fair will offer over 20 seminars addressing marketing, taxes, business plans, funding and more. There will also be federal, state and local government agencies, as well as business and trade associations, on hand to help entrepreneurs get the information they need to form and run a successful business.

The Library gives everyone the opportunity to learn and excel. Entrepreneurs can get business support online, and in-person help is available at workshops and one-on-one appointments. For more information, call us at 206-386-4636 or Ask Us.
