Cellist Andrew Kim returns to The Seattle Public Library to perform works by Haydn, Elgar, Beethoven and more from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 25 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium, 206-386-4636 .

Library programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage for $7.

Currently a senior at Edmonds-Woodway High School, Kim is the principal cellist of Cascade Youth Symphony. A student of cellist Janice Lee, Kim has debuted as a soloist at Benaroya Hall and represented Snohomish/N. King County in the Washington Music Educators Association's Solo and Ensemble Contest. In his spare time, Kim assists in local musical theater productions as a pit orchestra musician. Next year, Kim will be attending the University of Washington, pursuing degrees in both cello performance and chemical engineering. A Carlsen Cello Foundation recipient, Kim performs on a 1703 Matteo Gofriller cello.
