Drop in to Create Art With Artist Romson Bustillo at The Seattle Public Library Beginning July 26

How does life begin to change when we get involved with one another? Join Seattle artist Romson Bustillo for his beautiful exploration of togetherness and social change in "Proximity Modifier Project IV," a community project uniquely designed for select Library locations. Bustillo will be teaching drop-in art workshops as the Library's summer artist-in-residence from July 26 through Aug. 21. His art looks at how neighbors and organizations, like libraries, share space together. Drop by to make art with Bustillo and discover how libraries can be places where we get to know one another by getting creative!

Artist bio
Born in the Philippines, Romson Regarde Bustillo immigrated to Seattle with his family in 1978. He has spent extended periods of time working on his art in Spain, Mexico, the Philippines, S.E. Asia, and Central America.
Bustillo is an interdisciplinary artist working in mixed media, printmaking, and space coding. He maintains an art studio in the Central District of Seattle.
