Curbside and Book Drop Services Closed Sept. 18 at the Seattle Public Library Due to Unhealthy Air Quality; Restrooms Open at Select Locations

Due to continuing poor air quality, the Library is unable to provide Curbside Service or book return services on Friday, Sept. 18. The Library has contacted patrons with Curbside appointments, and their appointments have been rescheduled for Friday, Sept. 25. For information on rescheduled appointments, see our Curbside Service page.
Restroom access is available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at the Central Library, Ballard Branch, Beacon Hill Branch and Capitol Hill Branch, which have air conditioning.
Patrons should check the Library website: www.spl.org before visiting any location, since air quality issues can change suddenly. The Library closes outdoor services when the air quality index reaches a sustained unhealthy level of 150 and above.
