Curbside service closed due to air quality on Sept. 17; book drops and restrooms open at some locations

Due to poor air quality, The Seattle Public Library is unable to provide Curbside Service on Sept. 17. For information on rescheduled appointments see our Curbside Service page.
Services available today include book returns from noon to 6 p.m. at the following locations that have air conditioning: Central Library, Ballard Branch, Beacon Hill Branch, Broadview Branch, Douglass-Truth Branch, High Point Branch, Lake City Branch and Rainier Beach Branch. Restroom access is available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at the Central Library, Ballard Branch, Beacon Hill Branch and Capitol Hill Branch, which have air conditioning.
Patrons with Curbside appointments today will be contacted by the Library about rescheduled pickup dates and can find more information on the Library’s website.
Patrons should check the Library website: www.spl.org before visiting any location, since air quality issues can change suddenly. The Library closes outdoor services when the air quality index reaches a sustained unhealthy level of 150 and above.
