A Time for Unity: Panel Discussion on Mass Incarceration & Native Communities at The Seattle Public Library May 21

Join us at a Native-led talking circle about the impact of mass incarceration on Indigenous communities from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium, 206-386-4636.
How have Indigenous communities addressed the ravages of mass incarceration holistically? Listen to a panel of formerly-incarcerated community members who will talk about their experiences. The discussion will seek out cultural solutions that leave space for renewal and healing.
The panel will be moderated by George Farrell and Ixtli White Hawk. Panelists will include:

- Aaron Abrahamson
- David Lujano
- George Farrell (also a panelist)

Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Parking is available for $7 after 5 p.m. in the Central Library's garage.
