Graphic Medicine: Ill-Conceived & Well-Drawn! is a traveling banner exhibit that explores personal stories about health and illness through medical graphics and comics. Visit the exhibit from May 21 to June 30 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 3.

Library exhibits are free and everyone is welcome. Registration and tickets are not required for the exhibit or supporting events.

Curated by cartoon artist Ellen Forney, the traveling exhibit draws from texts newly acquired by the U.S. National Library of Medicine. The exhibit communicates each author's personal experience of illness and health, balanced with the external, clinical realm of medical symptoms and diagnoses. Additionally, for other patients who share a health issue, the art is intended to create community and share information.
