Film Screening: 'How to Start a Revolution' at The Seattle Public Library Sept. 11

Learn how to use the Library's streaming film service, Kanopy, and watch a screening of the film "How to Start a Revolution" from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium, 206-386-4636. Stay after the film for a short discussion.
Library programs are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage for $6 after 5 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.
In "How To Start A Revolution," first-time director Ruaridh Arrow details how an obscure list of nonviolent actions authored by professor Gene Sharp in 1973 has served as a blueprint for anti-authoritarian revolts everywhere from Eastern Europe and the Balkans to the Arab Spring uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia.
