The Seattle Public Library will host programs at several farmers markets throughout the city in July. The programs are free and open to the public. Registration is not required.

Children's Story Time - Bring your children to enjoy stories, rhymes, songs and fun.

Bookmobile - Visit the bookmobile, where you can get a Library card, check out books and movies, and do fun activities.

Music of Latin America - Join Lake City Future First and the Lake City Branch for Latin American music performed by Spanish language story teller and musician, Marco Cortes.

Cook Local Vegetables - Local author Kim O'Donnel demonstrates a recipe from her cookbook, "PNW Veg: 100 Vegetable Recipes Inspired by the Local Bounty of the Pacific Northwest."

Learn How to Make Kimchi - Instructor Ellie Cohan will demonstrate how to make kimchi at the Lake City Farmers Market. Kimchi is a Korean side dish made of spicy and fermented vegetables.

Lake City String Quartet - Join Lake City Future First and the Lake City Branch for a performance of the Lake City String Quartet.

ASL Story Time - Bring your toddlers and preschoolers to enjoy stories, rhymes, songs and fun with our American Sign Language (ASL) storyteller.
