The Seattle Public Library will bring the Bookmobile, Books on Bikes and Library staff to community events across the city this summer in July and August. You can get a Library card, check out books & movies, do fun activities and more!

SCHEDULE

Chinatown-ID JamFest - 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 18 throughout the Chinatown International District. JamFest is an outdoor summer music event in Seattle's Chinatown-International District where the community can celebrate the historic alleyways.

Ragin' Viet Cajun - Noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 20 at Pho Bac Súp Shop, 1240 S. Jackson St. Friends of Little Saigon presents this summer pop-up celebrating the southern influence on Vietnamese food.

Field Day - Noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 31 at Othello Park, 4219 S. Othello St. This free field day is presented by United Way of King County and Seattle Parks and Recreation to celebrate the Summer Meals program.

Rainier Beach Back 2 School Bash - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 at the Rainier Beach Community Center, 8825 Rainier Ave. S. This free annual community event is presented by the Rainier Beach Action Coalition to connect students and families with educational resources.

Big Day of Play - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Rainier Beach Community Center, 8825 Rainier Ave. S. This annual event is presented by Seattle Parks and Recreation's Get Moving Initiative.
