The Seattle Public Library will bring the Bookmobile, Books on Bikes and Library staff to community events across the city this summer in September. You can get a Library card, check out books & movies, do fun activities and more!

SCHEDULE

            Thai Festival 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at North Seattle College, 9600 College Way N. This annual festival is in an outdoor setting with food and non-food vendors, live entertainment, and much more. Thai Festival is organized by Thai Association of WA, a non-profit organization and volunteer-based program.

            Fiestas Patrias1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 at South Park Community Center, 8319 8th Ave. S. A celebration of Latino culture, this annual community festival is presented by Sea Mar Community Health Centers. Enjoy a fun-filled parade with the whole family and continue the celebration with traditional performances, delicious food, a health fair and more.

            Chinatown-ID Night Market4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 throughout the Chinatown International District. As the sun sets over Seattle’s Chinatown-International District, the historic neighborhood awakens to a vibrant Night Market. Upwards of 25,000 people take to the streets to mingle and soak in the dynamic culture Chinatown-International District’s Night Markets have to offer.
