Free lunches and snacks will be available for all youth ages 18 and under at the Broadview, Delridge, Green Lake, High Point and Northgate branches this summer, Monday, July 2 through Friday, Aug. 24.

The Seattle Public Library has partnered with United Way of King County and the City of Seattle to bring healthy and kid-friendly foods to Library locations where kids in need already live, learn and play.

Library programs are free and everyone is welcome. No meals will be provided when the Library is closed on Wednesday, July 4.

The meals program picks up where school meal programs leave off in June by providing free meals and snacks to all children and teens (18 years and younger) during the summer months. All kids are welcome — no proof of income, address or citizenship is ever required. Kids Cafe meals are specifically selected to appeal to kids' notoriously picky palates and to meet their special nutritional guidelines.
