Learn how to meditate, balance and increase your strength at gentle yoga classes for ages 50 and up. The Seattle Public Library will host these yoga classes at several Library locations in February. The classes are led by Rosalie Battah, a master practitioner of Reiki who is certified in Forrest Yoga.

Library programs are free and open to the public. Registration is recommended; call the branch to sign up. Drop-ins are welcome as space allows.

At these sessions, you will learn how to stretch and move with awareness to increase strength and improve flexibility, balance and posture. There will be a short period of meditation at both the beginning and end of the class. For accessibility and comfort, you may opt to use a chair during yoga and meditation.
