Learn about the Seattle-area's history of anti-racist organizing and celebrate the 25th anniversary of the People's Institute Northwest from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12 at Seattle University, Campion Ballroom, 901 12th Ave.

Library programs are free and open to the public. Childcare, food and refreshments will be provided. Registration is not required, but space is limited – reserve your seat by emailing garykperry@gmail.com.

Join organizers from the northwest and around the country to discuss the multi-generational and multi-racial movement dedicated to anti-racism. Speakers will share insights on this inclusive movement's strategies, challenges and victories.

The Library's dynamic approach to building community that enriches lives includes programming that brings people, information and ideas together to respect and embrace the well-being of the people we serve. We celebrate Seattle's many cultures by forming strong partnerships with community organizations.
