The Seattle Public Library Presents 'Hot Topics for Seniors' at Two Locations

The Seattle Public Library will present monthly discussion groups for seniors at two locations in May.
Library events and programs are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Brown bag lunches are welcome.
MEETING SCHEDULE
Southwest Branch, 9010 35th Ave. S.W., 206-684-7455.
- Noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 2 - Discuss current national, state and local issues. This meeting is presented in partnership with Puget Sound Advocates for Retirement Action (PSARA).
Green Lake Branch, 7364 E. Green Lake Dr. N., 206-684-7547.
- Noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 10 - This month we'll discuss the Seattle Reads title "Homegoing" by Yaa Gyasi.
Hot Topics for Seniors is a place to discuss current national, state and local issues. The groups select topics, which may include issues such as education, health care, benefit programs, hospice, palliative care, immigration, gun control, transportation or housing.
