The Seattle Public Library will host a drop-in session on how your company can compete globally and finance the export of your goods and services to international markets from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 6 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 4, Howard S. Wright Family & Janet W. Ketcham Meeting Room 2, 206-386-4636.

Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is recommended. Brown bag lunches are welcome. This event is co-sponsored by the Seattle District Office of the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Export–Import Bank of the United States (EXIM).

At this lunchtime session, presenters will explain what export financing resources are available and how to best utilize them. At the workshop, you will:

  • Hear an overview of the SBA and EXIM agencies, as well as their financing products and services.
  • Get tips to launch or expand your company’s international trade strategy.
  • Find out how to use the Library's business data to help with international sales.
  • Learn how your local bank can help you structure international payment transactions.
