Learn English Through Poetry: Class at The Seattle Public Library Begins July 5

Read poetry and write about your journey to becoming a new American. This nine-week class for English language learners takes place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays, July 5 through Aug. 30 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 4, PACCAR Inc. Meeting Room 6, 206-386-4636.
Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration will be on the first night of class, July 5. The class is open until full. The focus of the class will be on immigrant and refugee experiences.
