The Seattle Public Library will host "Legendary Children," a free evening of representation, dance, empowerment, art and social justice that is transformed by the voices of queer and transgender people of color from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, April 8 at the Seattle Art Museum (SAM), 1300 1st Ave.

Library programs are free and open to the public. Registration is requested, but not required; visit here for free tickets.

Attendees can enjoy performances, DJs and art by some of Seattle's most talented queer artists. Everyone is invited to join in the conversations sparked by the SAM exhibition "Jacob Lawrence: The Migration Series," which will be open and free during this event.
