Enjoy Lithuanian culture through music, dancing, theatrical performance and literature from 2 p.m. to 3:40 p.m. Sunday, March 24 at The Seattle Public Library, Central Library, 1000 Fourth Avenue, Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium, 206-386-4636.

This program is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage for $8.

Performers will include:

  • Author Birutė Putrius reading from his novel "The Last Book Smuggler"
  • Musician Dainius Vaičekonis performing a piano composition commemorating Juozas Naujalis’ 150th birthday
  • Theater troupe Vakarų Teatro Sumuštinis performing an excerpt from Tekla Žemaite's "Marti"
  • Dance group Lietutis showing off lively Lithuanian folk dances
