The Seattle Public Library will offer a series of workshops for low vision patrons on how to use the large print software ZoomText from Sept. 14 through Nov. 16 at the Central Library, Level 1, Literacy/ESL/World Languages Computer Room 167, 206-386-4690 .

CLASS SCHEDULE
Part 1: Introduction to ZoomText
Learn to use the ZoomText magnification program to change the size and color of the text on the computer screen. Magnification can be set from 2x to 36x.

Part 2: Résumé Writing Using ZoomText
This class teaches job seekers how to compose an attention-grabbing résumé using Zoomtext. The instructor is a professional résumé writer who uses ZoomText. Participants are encouraged to bring a USB drive to class so that they can take their résumé with them. Prerequisite: Must be familiar with and comfortable using ZoomText.

Part 3: Cover Letter Creation Using ZoomText
This class teaches job seekers how to write a compelling cover letter using Zoomtext. Participants will be invited to create their own cover letter while the instructor walks you through how to address the employer's needs while incorporating the essential components of a cover letter. The instructor is a professional résumé writer who uses ZoomText. Participants are encouraged to bring a USB drive to class so that they can take their cover letters with them. Prerequisite: Must be familiar with and comfortable using Zoomtext.
