The Seattle Public Library will host a screening of "Oh, I Get It," a short documentary film on Seattle's queer comedy scene, from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 5 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium, 206-386-4636 .

Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage for $6 after 5 p.m. The film is 9 minutes long and unrated.

"Oh, I Get It" is a short film about the challenges queer comedians face in the world of stand-up comedy. The film features local queer comedians who use their own brand of humor to change the climate of comedy.

The screening will be followed by a panel-led Q&A with director Danny Tayara, writer Ijeoma Oluo and comedian El Sanchez.
