Staff from The Seattle Public Library will offer free help scanning important family documents to a USB drive in February. Help will be offered in Spanish and English and will take place at the South Park Branch, 8604 Eighth Ave. S., 206-615-1688.

Library events are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Free parking is available in the branch parking lot. Spanish text for these events is available in the Library's calendar.

Families are invited to bring documents-such as birth certificates, government IDs, passports, marriage licenses, green cards, etc.-and a USB drive. Free USB drives will be available while supplies last, one per family.

Times and dates for the scanning workshops are listed below.

  • 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25
     
  • 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26

Can't make the events? Free scanning of documents is always available at the Library. Please ask staff for help!
