Come listen as Seattle's 2019-2020 Youth Poet Laureate Wei-Wei Lee, Youth Poet Laureate Ambassador Maia Pody and Youth Poet Laureate Finalist Marina Chen share their works from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Capitol Hill Branch, 425 Harvard Ave. E., 206-684-4715.
The Seattle Youth Poet Laureate (YPL) program aims to identify youth writers and leaders who are committed to poetry, performance, civic and community engagement, education, and equity across the Puget Sound region. YPL is a program of Seattle Arts & Lectures’ Writers in the Schools (WITS) program.
