'Southwest Stories': Monthly History Series at The Seattle Public Library Aug. 19

Join The Seattle Public Library for a monthly lecture series featuring presentations on the history of West Seattle, the Duwamish Peninsula and the birthplace of Seattle.

Library programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Free parking is available.

  • 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19 at the Delridge Branch, 5423 Delridge Way S.W., 206-733-9125. Join artist Lezlie Jane for an exploration of her public art projects in West Seattle.

This series is presented in partnership with the Southwest Seattle Historical Society.
