Join The Seattle Public Library for a monthly lecture series featuring presentations on the history of West Seattle, the Duwamish Peninsula and the birthplace of Seattle.

Library programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Free parking is available.

  • 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 15 at the Southwest Branch, 9010 35th Ave. S.W., 206-684-7455. Join Steve Edmiston to hear about Seattle bootlegger and rumrunner Roy Olmstead.
  • 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 20 at the West Seattle Branch, 2306 42nd Ave. S.W., 206-684-7444. Join Susan Shorett for a talk on the buildings of renowned Seattle architect Arthur Loveless.
