Teens ages 15-18 who are interested in journalism can get information and tips about applying to KUOW's paid summer internship from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at The Seattle Public Library, Southwest Branch, 9010 35th Ave. S.W., 206-684-7455.

Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.

About RadioActive

RadioActive is a radio journalism workshop for teens offered by radio station KUOW 94.9 FM. At the summer workshop, teens ages 15-18 will get hands-on experience and learn about journalism, audio recording, audio editing, interviewing, writing for broadcast and speaking on the air. Interns who complete the program will earn $1,200. Applications are due Tuesday, April 30.
