The city of Seattle’s Winter Weather page and King County Metro's information and alerts about routes during snow and ice are both good resources.

14 LIBRARY LOCATIONS CLOSED TODAY

The following branches, which were scheduled to be open today, will be closed: Ballard Branch, Delridge Branch, Fremont Branch, Green Lake Branch, International District/Chinatown Branch, Madrona-Sally Goldmark Branch, Magnolia Branch, Montlake Branch, Northeast Branch, Queen Anne Branch, South Park Branch, University Branch, Wallingford Branch and the West Seattle Branch.

The Northgate Branch is also closed but was not scheduled to be open.

The “snow branches” that are open today were chosen because of factors such as proximity to public transportation, staffing levels and geographic spread.
