JANUARY SCHEDULE

Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium, 206-386-4636.

  • 12:05 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14 – "Rule Number One" by Alan Orloff. There may be no honor among thieves, but there are definitely rules. Rule number one? Never trust anyone! Also, "A Feline Felony" by Lael J. Littke. Between Benny and Jerome it was always cat-and-mouse. No - make that cat-and-rat.
  • 12:05 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28 – "The Last Librarian" by Edoardo Albert. "I am one of the secret masters of the world. I am a librarian. Don’t ever piss me off." Also, "Hey Jude" by Francis Brody. The cops picked up her and her friends shoplifting, but wait ‘til you find out what they stole.

Third Place Books: Seward Park, 5041 Wilson Ave S., 206-474-2200.

  • 7 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20 – "A Dip in the Pool" by Roald Dahl. Gambling on the high seas can be awfully fun, but as the stakes rise a shipboard wager gets out of hand for Mr. Botibol.

The Library believes that the power of knowledge improves people's lives. We promote literacy and a love of reading as we bring people, information and ideas together to enrich lives and build community.
