See what’s on display now at our Level 8 Gallery at the Central Library. We use our gallery space to host touring exhibits or partner with communities to share work from local artists and explore local history and current events.
The exhibit will run February 1 – March 18, 2024.
Join Path with Art, a purpose-driven organization, to build connections on every level, creating space for individual and community healing and growing through art. This exhibition is a testament to the powerful nature of art's ability to offer healing–whether as creator or appreciator. It showcases high-caliber works of art centered on the life stories of our Participant Artists.
"Winter Visions" embraces the season’s contemplative demeanor and engages us as witnesses to the proactive nature of the artistic process. Through self-expression and creative choices, we present a kaleidoscope of Winter Visions, where art becomes a mirror reflecting the truth and resilience of each Participant Artist. As human beings connect, empathy and understanding blossom, fostering the core qualities of healthy communities.
Path with Art is a Seattle-based arts nonprofit that fosters the restoration of individuals, groups, and society from the effects of trauma through arts engagement and community-building. Since 2008, they have been offering free year-round arts programming, materials, access, and exhibitions to low-to no-income individuals recovering from traumas such as PTSD, mental and physical health challenges, homelessness, domestic violence, and substance use disorder, among others. They help participants deepen their artistic skills while growing in self-confidence and self-expression, serving over 1,500 individuals in 2023. Participants become more resilient through engagement in their programming and connect with a supportive artistic community.
Path with Art would like to thank the generous support of 4Culture, ArtsFund, ArtsWA, Boeing, Cairncross & Hempelmann, Constance Wealth Advisors, The Dale & Leslie Chihuly Foundation, National Endowment of the Arts/ArtWorks, Rivers and Roads Foundation, Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, and Timberlane Partners.
