Design and play games with BB8 robots. You will work with a team to come up with a simple, competitive game to play with the robots by controlling them with iPads.

Cubelets

Learn the basics of robotics with cubes that snap together and act as input, output or power supply. You will learn to create a simple robot and put together the cubes needed to perform a task.

Finch Robots

Program a Finch Robot to learn the basic concepts of computer programming. You will learn to control the robot’s movement, sensors, lights and sounds with the Scratch program.

Build and program your own robot using electronics and craft supplies. You will learn the basics of robotics and write a program to control your robot with Birdbox.

LittleBits

Invent an electronic device with LittleBits. Using color-coded, magnetic electronic components and craft supplies, you will design and build your device and learn the basics of electronics.

Design a location based mobile game (think Pokemon GO) using the Taleblazer platform. Over a series of workshops, you will plan and build a mobile game that uses location to trigger game actions.

Learn to build an interactive game using Unity3D and transform it into an immersive virtual reality experience. Over the course of a series of workshops you will learn the basics of designing for VR and experience your creation on Oculus Rift.
