Resources for Businesses: Open House at the Seattle Public Library Nov. 4

Do you want to start or grow your own business? Entrepreneurs can get free business consulting from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4 at the Columbia Branch, 4721 Rainier Ave. S., 206-386-1908.
At this open house, you'll get financial help, counseling on the viability of a business idea, or just advice on next steps. Bring your new ideas or fully formed plans to this free event and meet the experts who will provide the technical and financial assistance to empower you.
Get one-on-one assistance from experts who will help you:
- Research your market or industry
- Learn about legal topics like forming an LLC or copyrighting your writing
- Start that business plan you've been thinking about
- Develop a growth plan for your business
- Get your financial plan in ship shape
- Learn about hiring employees and being the boss
Do you have other things you need for your business? Whether you are you an independent artist turning your side gig into a business, a food truck operator thinking about a new site, or a tech business about to hire new employees, there will be resources at this event that will help!

Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. The Library gives everyone the opportunity to learn and excel. Entrepreneurs can get business support online, and in-person help is available at workshops and one-on-one appointments.
