The Seattle Public Library Presents Thrilling Tales in August

Need a break from the mundane? The Seattle Public Library offers "Thrilling Tales: A Story Time for Grown Ups" where you can laugh, gasp and shudder to live readings during your lunch.
Library programs are free and open to the public. Registration is not required.

- 12:05 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5 - "Men Without Bones" by Gerald Kersh. He came raving out of the jungle, a fantastic tale to tell of Martians, and boneless men! Was he mad? You be the judge. Also, "Easy Money" by Phil Foglio. Maybe it wasn’t exactly a “renewable resource,” but these muleskinners couldn’t believe their luck!
- 12:05 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19 - "So Young, So Fair, So Dead" by John Lutz. They couldn’t believe they’d finally found their dream house. Then they met the burglar next door.
